Mastermyne Group (ASX:MYE) said it has accepted responsibility and entered a guilty plea in relation to legal proceedings arising from a fatal incident at the Moranbah North Mine in March 2022, which led to the death of mineworker Gavin Feltwell, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The Magistrates Court of Queensland sentenced Mastermyne to pay a financial penalty of AU$310,000 plus AU$54,000 in costs, with no conviction recorded, the filing added.
