Genesis Minerals (ASX:GMD) found multiple high-grade intersections at several sources at its Laverton operations in Western Australia, all of which stand to leverage existing infrastructure with their proximity to the processing plant, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

Studies to expand the processing plant to 4.5 to 5 million tonnes per year are progressing on schedule for completion before September, the filing said.

Shares rose 4% in morning trade on Friday.
