KBR is setting the executive team for its mission technology solutions business ahead of its planned spinoff next year.
The government contractor is in the process of dividing into two companies, with one firm focused on so-called mission technology solutions, serving military and other government agencies, and another firm focused on sustainable technology, centered on energy transition and emissions reduction.
Michael LaRouche is set to serve as chief executive of KBR's spun-off mission-technology arm, while Nicholas Veasey will serve as its finance chief, KBR said Thursday.
LaRouche currently serves as CEO of Serco North America, a government services provider. He has more than three decades of experience across defense, space, cyber, intelligence and government services markets, KBR said, having previously held leadership positions at companies including SAIC, Raytheon and Lockheed Martin.
Veasey most recently served as finance chief of MAG Aerospace, and he previously held roles at companies including Booz Allen Hamilton, Deutsche Bank and The Carlyle Group.
LaRouche will join KBR on Sept. 24, after Veasey joins on July 1. The company expects to complete the spinoff of its mission technology business early next year, on Jan. 4, 2027.
