公告称，总收益增加主要由于逆向供应链管理及环保相关服务的收益增加约17.22亿港元，该业务分部的收益大幅增加，主要由于中国金属产品需求强劲，在国家利好进口政策连同企业环境、社会及管治要求及碳减排目标的推动下，促使主要下游客户积极扩大采购。中国的“十五五”规划将金属循环再生定位为核心战略，旨在构建全面的资源循环利用体系。该规划强调深化推进生产者责任延伸(EPR)制度与产品全生命周期管理，并在大宗再生资源(如铜、铝)、稀贵金属，以及以动力电池为代表的“新三样”回收利用方面进行了重点部署。这一政策导向了铜及黑粉等核心工业材料销量的强劲增长。同时，全球大宗商品价格利好走势，与国际商品指数保持一致，亦进一步支持了收益增长。
