欧洲央行管委会成员Ante Zigman表示，欧洲央行的首要任务是控制通胀，随着油价回落，这项任务正变得稍微容易了一些。

　　Zigman周二发表了本月出任克罗地亚央行行长以来的首次公开讲话。他表示，通过提高借贷成本，欧洲央行已经表明其做好了采取行动的准备。此次加息是在外界担忧这将加大欧元区陷入困境的经济所面临阻力的情况下进行的。

　　Zigman对克罗地亚电视台表示：“我们必须关注价格稳定。”“与霍尔木兹海峡开放有关的地缘政治发展导致油价下跌。这肯定会对通胀产生积极影响。”

　　随着美国和伊朗推动中东实现持久和平，欧洲央行正在评估是否在本月加息之后进一步行动。本月的加息也是2023年以来首次。尽管中东冲突通过推高能源价格加剧了欧洲通胀，但也在拖累经济；如果货币政策持续收紧，经济可能进一步走弱。

　　欧洲央行首席经济学家Philip Lane周二表示，通胀将在“相当长一段时间内”徘徊在2%的目标上方。副行长Boris Vujcic表示，整体和基础价格压力都将“在更长时间内维持在较高水平”。

　　当被问及他会更倾向于欧洲央行鹰派还是鸽派阵营时，接替Vujcic的Zigman暗示，他属于前一阵营。

　　他说：“作为一名在克罗地亚恶性通胀时期成长起来的经济学家，那段经历确实给我留下了印象，让我认识到必须对通胀保持谨慎，必须及时采取行动，防止其影响最脆弱的群体。”
