消息面上，英美烟草(BTI)于周一公布全球组织架构调整方案，企业将裁员5500人，并将3500个岗位移交战略合作伙伴承接，整体人员调整规模覆盖全球约20%员工，本次改革旨在加速企业AI数字化转型进程。本次人员优化范围不包含美国区域，大部分人员调整方案已完成内部确认，剩余调整工作将依照各地法律法规完成磋商落地。
本次人员重组是企业近一至两年全球生产布局梳理的重要组成部分，此前公司已启动工厂网络整合工作，其中南非海德堡工厂已确定关停，核心原因为当地非法产品泛滥，市场经营环境难以持续。企业通过收缩低效产能、优化全球生产布局，进一步精简运营体系，适配数字化、智能化转型节奏。
随着本轮组织架构与生产体系重组落地，企业降本增效预期进一步强化。英美烟草将长期年度成本节约目标上调，预计2028年可实现6亿英镑年度成本节约，高于此前设定的2027年5亿英镑节约目标。持续的架构优化与智能化转型，将进一步改善企业经营效率，为企业长期经营发展释放稳定的成本红利。
