OceanScape International's (SGX:V2Y) subsidiary, SeaScape Energy (Malaysia), signed a conditional solar power purchase agreement with Big Mountain Diversified for the development, ownership and operation of an off-grid solar photovoltaic energy generation project.

Under the agreement, both parties will focus on a battery energy storage system with a power rating of 10 megawatts and three diesel backup generators with an aggregate capacity of 3,000 kilovolt amperes, according to a Saturday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The agreement includes a six-month feasibility period for Big Mountain to conduct an independent technical, commercial and regulatory assessment of the project.
