长时储能系统制造商ESS Tech， Inc．已被正式纳入罗素微盘股指数。该调整于6月27日美股收盘后生效，作为富时罗素年度指数重组的一部分。
罗素微盘股指主要衡量美国股市微型股板块的表现，这些股票约占美国股市总市值的不到2%，由罗素2000指数中最小的1000只证券以及按市值计算次小的1000只合格证券组成。截至2025年6月30日，该指数的平均市值为7.22亿美元，中位市值为2.43亿美元。
ESS是一家总部位于俄勒冈州威尔逊维尔的公司，专注于设计和制造用于商业和公用事业规模应用的全铁液流长时储能系统。近期公司在业务层面取得多项进展，包括与Salt River Project和Google合作推进Project New Horizon项目，在亚利桑那州部署5兆瓦/50兆瓦时的储能系统，并获得了美国空军研究实验室价值990万美元的合同。今年一季度，公司营收为12.8万美元，净亏损收窄至1590万美元，调整后EBITDA亏损同比改善31%。
纳入罗素微盘股指有望提升ESS在投资界的能见度，尤其是受到追踪该指数的被动型基金和机构投资者的关注。ESS已连续四个季度被纳入该指数，反映了其作为微型股板块代表成分的稳定性。截至2026年第一季度末，公司拥有约1550万美元的现金及现金等价物和600万美元的短期投资。
