Daiichi Sankyo Board Approves Treasury Share Disposal Under Medium-Term Share Compensation Plan

Daiichi Sankyo's (TYO:4568) board approved the disposal of 701,100 of its shares worth 1.83 billion yen under its medium-term performance-based share compensation plan.
The shares were allocated to Master Trust Bank of Japan for executive compensation, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The disposal will be completed Aug. 6.
