Silex Systems (ASX:SLX) completed construction of the laser-based silicon enrichment plant at its New South Wales facility, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Plant activities are focused on integrating the plant laser system and the first two silicon enrichment reactors before final plant commissioning, set for later this year, the filing said.
Sample production is expected to start in the first quarter of 2027, per the filing.
Shares fell 1% in morning trade on Monday.
