CIMC Shareholder Reduces Stake, Loses Status as Major Shareholder

China International Marine Containers (SHE:000039) or CIMC shareholder CITIC-Prudential Life Insurance reduced its stake in the shipping equipment company to below 5% and is no longer considered a major shareholder, according to a Thursday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
CITIC-Prudential Life Insurance sold about 23 million A shares in CIMC, equivalent to a 0.34% stake in the shipping equipment company.
Following the sale, CITIC-Prudential now holds 4.9999987% of the company.
