ChainCatcher 消息，数据中心运营商 Switch 宣布正式启动 20 亿美元私募融资，a16z 领投。知情人士透露，Switch 此次融资后的企业估值（含债务）可能接近 500 亿美元，股权价值约 190 亿美元（不含新增投资），a16z 将投资约 4 亿美元。此外，高盛集团和摩根大通也正在协助推进该轮融资，此次融资或将为 Switch 最早于明年进行首次公开募股（IPO）做准备。目前相关谈判仍在进行中，融资规模、估值及时间安排仍可能调整。
Switch 总部位于拉斯维加斯，成立于 2000 年，目前在内华达州、密歇根州、佐治亚州和得克萨斯州运营数据中心，其多数股权由 DigitalBridge 持有。DigitalBridge 此前与 IFM Investors 等投资方于 2022 年以约 110 亿美元（含债务）的交易将 Switch 私有化。
