Beer had a bruising year in 2025, but Modelo maker Constellation Brands sees early signs that consumers are ready to crack a cold one this summer, boosted by the FIFA World Cup and the New York Knicks championship.
Nick Fink, Constellation's new CEO, said the beer's recovery appears broad-based. "It does look like the return to health to us might have to do with some of the headwinds abating," he said on an investor call.
Fink said consumers in Texas and Florida continue to struggle economically. California, which was challenged earlier in the year, has seen a return to growth. Shares of Constellation were up roughly 2% in premarket trading.
