AI芯片初创公司Etched周二宣布结束隐身模式，披露已完成累计8亿美元融资，并签下超过10亿美元的客户合同。该公司计划于今年夏季开始向客户出货其机架级推理系统。

　　此次融资中的最新一轮为去年12月完成的5亿美元融资，投后估值达50亿美元。领投方包括Stripes，参投方有彼得·蒂尔、Positive Sum、Ribbit Capital等机构和个人。量化交易巨头Jane Street还主导了一轮此前未公开的融资，对Etched的累计投资已超过1亿美元。

　　Etched由哈佛辍学生Gavin Uberti和Robert Wachen于2022年创立，公司开发的Sohu芯片专为Transformer模型设计，将模型架构直接嵌入芯片而非依赖通用GPU。Etched表示，公司已实现台积电N4P工艺的A0芯片一次性流片成功，目前正与客户验证首款机架级产品。

　　公司团队规模超过400人，成员多来自英伟达、博通、谷歌TPU团队、SK海力士等企业。Etched在圣何塞总部建有数据中心和原型实验室，并在台湾设厂，目标到2027年实现吉瓦级产能。

　　随着AI行业重心从模型训练转向推理，推理芯片市场正吸引大量资本涌入。Etched是目前少数提供完整机架系统而非仅芯片的初创企业之一。
