ASX (ASX:ASX) reached a record number of exchange-traded fund (ETF) listings in the fiscal year 2026, with 72 ETFs added, according to a statement on Thursday.

There were 50 ETF listings last year, the statement said.

The result indicates sustained growth in issuer activity and investor demand, supported by uptake from retail investors.

The ETF market currently holds over AU$350 billion in assets across 458 products listed on ASX, and has seen more than AU$50 billion in inflows in the full fiscal year, per the statement.

Shares fell 1% in morning trade on Thursday.
