Strategy (MSTR): Shares of Michael Saylor's beleaguered crypto-buying machine climbed. The stock has been advancing since the company launched a turnaround that includes buybacks and bitcoin sales earlier this week.

Tesla $(TSLA)$: The EV maker's shares fell despite a 25% jump in second-quarter sales volumes.

Rivian (RIVN): Rivian's better-than-anticipated sales were more positively received; the carmaker's stock surged.

Blue Owl $(OWL)$: Investors asked to withdraw $4.7 billion of their money from two of the firm's flagship funds in the second quarter, but the figure was lower compared with the previous three months; shares jumped.

Samsung Electronics (KR:005930), SK Hynix (KR:000660), Kioxia (JP:285A): The Asian memory-chip makers slumped, dragging down South Korea's Kospi and Japan's Nikkei 225 indexes.
