Stocks in the healthcare sector fell as investors rotated away from lower-risk industries amid growing tech bullishness.
Invivyd said regulators are ending emergency use authorization for its Covid-19 prevention medication, Pemgarda. The Food and Drug Administration sent Invivyd a notice of termination, with the designation set to end June 29 of next year.
Shares of Clarivate fell after the company said it was selling its life-science and healthcare segment to Altaris, a New York investment firm, for $600 million. Clarivate, a London-based provider of global information, analytics and workflow solutions, said the sale would allow it to focus on AI-driven intelligence for its academic and government and intellectual-property segments.
