Medline (MDLN) said Monday it has leased two Northern California distribution centers totaling more than 1.6 million square feet to replace capacity lost after its Tracy, California, warehouse was destroyed in a June 11 fire.

The company signed a lease for a 925,000-square-foot warehouse in Tracy for immediate occupancy and a 709,000-square-foot facility in nearby Stockton.

The new Tracy distribution center will begin receiving products and serving customers in the coming months using its MedTrans fleet and is expected to eventually incorporate AI-powered technologies.

The Stockton facility is scheduled to open in January 2027 and, together with the Tracy site, will support healthcare providers and customers across Northern California.
