全球监管机构已开始更加密切地关注人工智能（AI）的影响，从Anthropic的Mythos等前沿AI模型带来的网络和运营风险，到能够在人类有限干预下自主行动的智能体系统所带来的挑战。
米尔斯关于AI对金融行业影响的评估发现，超过四分之一的英国消费者信任OpenAI的ChatGPT、Anthropic的Claude以及谷歌的Gemini等工具提供的财务建议，但他们仅有限地意识到，适用于受监管金融服务的保护措施并未涵盖这些AI服务。米尔斯建议FCA在未来三至六个月内，通过审查处于监管范围之外的AI模型的规模、性质和影响，考虑是否需要“巩固并调整”监管边界。
