韩国正计划将半导体产业的繁荣红利，转化为一笔押注国家未来的长期资本。
韩国总统秘书室室长姜勋植（Kang Hoon-sik）周日表示，政府计划利用半导体产业繁荣带来的额外税收收入设立一只未来基金，用于投资经济增长引擎、支持年轻一代，并应对日益加剧的社会不平等问题。政府将利用“未来应对基金”为重大国家投资项目提供资金支持，并增强国家的长期竞争力。
姜勋植表示：“在这个决定韩国未来的关键节点，我们绝不能浪费半导体繁荣等因素带来的额外税收收入。”他指出，该基金将用于支持政府三大“超级项目”、培育新的增长动力、应对他所称的“K型”经济两极分化现象，并为20至39岁人群提供住房、创业和就业支持。该拟议基金是落实李在明总统“使韩国在全球范围内不可替代”目标的基石，并敦促政府与执政党密切合作、迅速推进。
