纽约联储行长约翰·威廉姆斯表示，他预计能源价格下跌将在未来几个月推动整体通胀回落，同时重申央行的政策目前处于良好位置。

　　“我对短期通胀前景确实感到更乐观一些，因为我们将看到能源价格下跌，”威廉姆斯周二接受福克斯商业频道采访时表示。“我认为货币政策处于良好位置”来实现美联储的使命，他补充说。

　　在美伊战争爆发后基本陷入关闭的霍尔木兹海峡已出现恢复迹象。油价在美伊达成临时和平协议后已大幅下降。

　　不过，在油价下跌之前，美联储青睐的通胀指标——个人消费支出价格指数——5月同比上升4.1%，剔除食品和能源价格的核心PCE价格指数上涨3.4%。

　　威廉姆斯还表示，就业市场在企稳，经济增长依然稳健。

　　这位纽约联储行长表示，联邦公开市场委员会（FOMC）成员达成“强烈共识”，在6月会议后的政策声明中移除有关未来利率路径的指引。

　　“鉴于通胀和经济前景方面的不确定性，试图就未来利率走向提供明确的前瞻性指引已不再合适，”他说。“不确定性太大了。”
