Ioneer (ASX:INR) entered non-binding memorandums of understanding with the Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corp. and Hyundai Engineering to help develop its Rhyolite Ridge lithium-boron project in Nevada, US, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Korea Overseas Infrastructure, a South Korean government agency, is evaluating an equity investment in Rhyolite Ridge, while Hyundai Engineering is considering the provision of certain procurement activities related to the project, per the filing.
Ioneer said the non-binding agreements do not create any legally enforceable obligations.
The company added that it has invested over $220 million in Rhyolite Ridge and completed more than 70% of the project's advanced engineering work since 2016.
