瑞银集团称，投资者应该买入SK海力士计划发行的美国存托凭证（ADR），卖出该芯片制造商的韩国上市股票，因为前者在交易时可能享有溢价。
这家瑞士银行的销售和交易部门在给客户的报告中指出，对于对冲基金之类的投资者来说，这些ADR可能比韩国股票更具吸引力，因为持有效率更高、成本更低。报告还指出，一些未持有其首尔上市股票的全球投资组合经理或也能够购买这些美国证券。
“从第一天开始就做多它的ADR并做空其韩股，听起来似乎没什么可犹豫的，”瑞银的报告称。“鉴于ADR折价现象不太可能发生，于是风险非常有限，因此这是一项可以极大规模操作的交易。”
SK海力士周一启动了美国上市交易的正式推介，计划出售代表约1779万股普通股的ADR，按上周五的收盘价计算，价值约280亿美元。该公司在首尔上市的股票今年已飙升超过220%，推动其市值达到1万亿美元左右。
瑞银的报告称，全球散户投资者也可能被这些ADR所吸引；他们对其首尔上市股票的持仓基本相对较少。
