高盛表示，除非美国经济突发超预期下行冲击，或是日本央行转向激进收紧货币政策，否则美元兑日元将持续承受上行压力。
卡马克希亚・特里维迪（KamakshyaTrivedi ）等策略分析师在研报中写道：“美国收益率长期维持高位、经济衰退风险较低、财政隐忧持续存在，叠加日本央行加息节奏平缓，整体宏观环境预示日元将持续面临贬值压力。”
该行将一年期美元兑日元汇率预测值从155上调至165；
三个月、六个月美元兑日元目标价分别看至162、163，此前预测值分别为160、158。
“我们仍建议将日元作为融资货币，搭配其他低息G10货币，布局新兴市场高利差资产。”
高盛同时下调欧元兑美元汇率预期：12个月目标价从此前1.20下调至1.12，六个月目标价由1.18下调至1.12。
