Theta Edge, Nova MSC Terminate E-Government Joint Venture

Theta Edge (KLSE:THETA) and Nova MSC (KLSE:NOVAMSC) agreed to terminate their joint venture to develop and market e-government and digital transformation solutions, according to a Friday Malaysian bourse filing.
Shares gained 1% in Monday's late morning trade.
The companies will discuss the next steps for their jointly owned Digital EG, including the possibility of winding up the company, subject to mutual agreement and the terms of the joint venture agreement.
Theta Edge said the termination is not expected to have a material impact on its earnings, net assets or gearing for the financial year ending Dec. 31.
