Lockheed Martin (LMT) is leading the race to acquire Advent International's Ultra Maritime business for about $3.5 billion, several news outlets reported over the weekend, citing people familiar with the matter.
The deal is yet to be finalized but could be announced as early as this week, according to reports.
Lockheed Martin and Advent did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
