现代汽车集团周二表示，将与政府合作，建立插电式充电（PnC）技术的全国性认证，以促进电动汽车（EV）的更广泛普及。
该公司表示，已与韩国气候、能源和环境部以及韩国环境公社签署了一份谅解备忘录，旨在建立电动汽车PnC服务的全国性认证体系。
PnC 是一种国际标准技术，只需插入充电线即可自动完成用户身份验证、充电和支付。
与传统的电动汽车充电服务需要会员卡或信用卡进行身份验证不同，PnC通过车辆与充电桩之间的加密认证，实现更安全、便捷的充电体验。
根据协议，现代汽车集团将把其PnC认证技术及认证授权移交政府，有助于将该技术推广至韩国更广泛的电动汽车充电站网络。
