随着欧洲第一大经济体德国加强军备，到本十年末，德国将把国防和安全支出提高到超过2000亿欧元（合2280亿美元），占联邦预算的三分之一。

　　周一，德国总理弗里德里希·默茨的内阁批准了2027年预算提案以及截至2030年的财政基准。德国财政部称，包括为乌克兰所提供的军事援助在内，明年国防支出将超过1500亿欧元，到2030年将增至超过1900亿欧元。

　　大举增加国防支出使德国有望从2029年起达到北约组织的新目标，即将国内生产总值的3.5%用于核心国防，也将会强化美国的北约盟友关于他们正在承担该组织更多负担的说法。在周二于土耳其首都安卡拉开始举行的为期两天的峰会上，北约领导人将寻求向美国总统唐纳德·特朗普阐明这一点。

　　“我们无法在坚持预算平衡的同时保卫德国，”财政部长Lars Klingbeil周一在柏林介绍2027年预算前的一份声明中说。他表示，欧洲和平正受到威胁，德国必须在“尽可能短的时间内”弥补在国防领域的投资不足。

　　德国财政部估计，此举将使政府在2027年至2030年间新增净借款5870亿欧元。
