全球律师事务所Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP近日宣布，针对煤炭生产商Peabody Energy Corporation的证券欺诈集体诉讼已正式提起。在2024年10月14日至2026年5月4日期间购买该公司普通股的投资者，可在2026年8月24日前申请担任首席原告。

　　此次诉讼源于Peabody Energy旗舰资产——位于澳大利亚昆士兰州的Centurion冶金煤矿的严重投产延误。诉状指控该公司及其部分高管在Centurion煤矿的产能爬坡问题上作出虚假和误导性陈述，向投资者传递了拥有该煤矿可靠产能信息的错误印象，但实际存在多重问题导致投产延迟。

　　2026年3月30日，Peabody Energy发布新闻稿，将Centurion煤矿2026年第一季度的产量预期下调约45万吨，归因于超出预期的煤矿投产挑战。当日股价下跌9.7%，收于35.68美元。

　　2026年5月5日，公司进一步披露未能实现此前承诺的2026年3月全面投产目标，并将全年冶金煤销量指引从350万吨削减至250万吨。受此影响，股价再次下跌5.7%至25.00美元。自3月27日至5月5日，该股累计下跌约36%。

　　据2026年第一季度财报显示，公司净亏损3240万美元，调整后EBITDA为8250万美元，同比下降43%，其中Seaborne冶金煤业务录得700万美元亏损。
