招股书显示，宝盖新材成立于2009年，已成为中国复合材料沟盖板行业的专业制造商，专门生产主要用于满足工程和基建需求的复合材料沟盖板产品。根据弗若斯特沙利文的资料，于2025年，公司按市场份额计于中国电缆沟盖板及复合材料电缆沟盖板行业排名第一，按市场份额计于沟盖板行业排名第三。
宝盖新材制造并供应全范围的高性能复合材料沟盖板产品，主要包括电缆沟盖板、排水沟盖板及井盖。公司的复合材料沟盖板产品均可定制，规格及配置均可按要求提供。公司使用的复合材料主要是嵌有玻璃纤维增强材料的树脂基复合材料。公司的产品矩阵适用非标准尺寸、特殊功能及品牌客户标志，满足客户的定制需求。公司亦在其所有产品上安装服务，应用物联网技术，积极推进智能井盖管理系统的智能化升级。
