凤凰网科技讯 7月7日，小米创办人、董事长兼CEO雷军宣布，小米公益基金会捐赠1000万元现金，紧急驰援广西等地防汛救灾工作。
据介绍，近日广西等地受降雨、大风等天气影响，接连发生水库溃坝、山体滑坡等灾情，部分地区民众生命财产安全受到损失，防汛救灾形势严峻。
小米公益基金会此次捐赠的1000万元现金，将用于支持广西等地区的紧急援助、过渡安置及灾后重建等工作。小米方面表示，将持续关注相关灾情动态。
与此同时，小米公益平台已上线“共筑爱的安全家”项目，为社会公众参与相关救灾支持提供渠道。小米方面称，该项目将在主管部门及合作慈善公益机构指导协作下推进。
