7月9日，牛仔服制造商李维斯周三公布，第二财季营收、净利润均超出市场预期。该公司上调了全年业绩指引，并宣布提高股息。
该公司目前预计，全年调整后每股盈利为 1.46 美元至 1.52 美元，此前预期区间为 1.42 美元至 1.48 美元。上调后的目标区间上限 1.52 美元，高于市场普遍预期的每股 1.50 美元。
李维斯还上调了其全年销售业绩预期，现在预计全年销售额将增长7%至7.5%，此前的预测区间为5.5%至6.5%。根据LSEG的数据，这一增幅高于此前分析师预期的6.6%。李维斯首席财务官哈米特·辛格表示，其中约一半的增长来自价格上涨，另一半则来自单位销量的提升。
该公司截至5月31日的第二财季净利润为8730万美元，每股盈利为22美分，而去年同期净利润为6700万美元，每股盈利为17美分。
当季营收为15.6亿美元，比一年前的14.5亿美元增长了约8%。
尽管业绩超出预期，但李维斯股价周三盘后仍下跌了逾5%。
该公司首席执行官米歇尔·加斯表示，尽管面临更高的汽油价格，公司的核心消费者仍表现出强大的韧性。她指出，本季度销售额增长约三分之二来自销量提升，而不仅仅是价格上涨，这使公司有信心上调业绩指引和股息。
“我们的需求依然健康，”加斯表示，“在主要消费群体中我们看到了强劲的表现，除了核心品牌Levi‘s之外，我们的标志性产品以及新款高端蓝色标签也表现亮眼。”
