Astrazeneca Remains Top EU Biopharma Pick for Bernstein

1506 GMT - AstraZeneca remains Bernstein's top pick in EU biopharma after a setback this week for its Wainua treatment. "We continue to firmly believe that AZN retains the deepest and highest quality pipeline in the industry courtesy of the leading internal and external innovation engine," Bernstein analysts write in a note. Bernstein expects the U.K. pharma company to reach annual revenue of $87 billion by 2030, ahead of the company's guidance for $80 billion. Shares trade 4.2% lower at 127.94 pounds.
