Jupiter Asset Management已清空旗下主要债券基金之一的美国国债，转而购买欧洲政府债券。

　　共同管理13亿英镑（17亿美元）策略债券基金的Harry Richards表示，他在两个月前已完全清空美国国债，目前仅在他协助管理的其他四只基金中持有少量美债。他指出，美国经济“过热”的迹象意味着美国升息的可能性比欧洲更大，这降低了美国国债的吸引力。

　　这是该基金近十年来首次完全未持有美债。尽管Jupiter此举是策略性的，但与投资者对国家债务不断飙升、通胀持续高企及央行独立性问题的疑虑不谋而合；这些问题在美国尤为突出。

　　“我们转向了其他市场，因为我们发现那里的相对价值更高，”Richards说。他在伦敦这家913亿美元的投资公司负责管理五只基金，总规模达60亿美元。 

　　这一押注已有回报：该基金今年迄今的绩效打败93%的同类基金。彭博指数显示，自4月底以来，美国国债让投资人蒙受0.1%的损失，德国国债则获得了0.6%的回报。 

　　Richards表示，美国国债普遍被认为是全球安全避风港资产。但如果看不到投资机会，且在某个时间点的风险大于机会，那么我们乐于成为逆向投资者。
