JD.com (JD) unit JD Property-backed group is preparing to confidentially file for an initial public offering of a real estate investment trust in Singapore, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

A draft registration statement is expected to be submitted soon to the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Singapore's stock exchange, but the considerations are ongoing and timings might change, the people reportedly said.

The group includes Switzerland's Partners Group, and the REIT will also include Southeast Asian assets of EZA Hill Property Management, according to the report.

In March, Bloomberg reported that the REIT could raise about 1 billion Singapore dollars ($775 million) in an IPO.

JD Property, Partners Group, EZA Hill Property Management did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
