Light & Wonder Could Face Difficulty in Meeting High Single Digits Percentage Growth in Fiscal 2026 AEBITDA, Jefferies Says

Light & Wonder's (ASX:LNW) percentage growth of high-end of middle single digits to high single digits in adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (AEBITDA) in fiscal year 2026 "looks difficult to achieve," Jefferies said in a Friday report.

Jefferies expects around 2% fiscal 2026 AEBITDA consensus downgrades for the firm due to weaker SciPlay performance.

The firm has a strong launch pipeline of Australia and New Zealand launches, which should fill any content gaps, although a second-half step-up in regional sales is expected to occur largely from the fourth quarter.

The investment firm retained its buy rating for Light & Wonder and cut the price target to AU$145 per share from AU$180 per share.
