SpaceX连续三天下跌，距离跌破首次公开募股（IPO）的发行价仅一步之遥。对于交易员和投资者而言，发行价是衡量新股表现的重要水平。
周二SpaceX股价下跌2.2%，收于每股136.08美元，仅比上个月每股135美元的发行价高出1美元。埃隆·马斯克旗下的这家火箭、卫星和人工智能公司较上市后触及的高点已下跌约三分之一，市值蒸发近8500亿美元。
公司股价上市几天或几周就跌破IPO发行价，会打破公司及其承销机构精心营造的乐观预期。过早让股东蒙受损失，会打击市场信心，有些新上市公司会因此一蹶不振。
怀疑者指出，SpaceX的预期市销率超过30倍，在纳斯达克100指数成分股中位列最高之列，略低于Palantir Technologies Inc．。SpaceX还面临较长时间的禁售期，未来数月内部人士会定期解禁并出售股份。
“我们仍不认为SpaceX已经触底，”Mahoney Asset Management的首席执行官Ken Mahoney表示。
