Starteepo, a Prague-based alternative investment fund, said it increased its ownership position in Xerox Holdings to 8.8 million shares, making it the second-largest shareholder in the office technology company.

The investment was disclosed in an amended filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission and comes together with options on an additional 140,000 shares.

In May, the fund said it bought a 5% stake in Xerox and last month boosted its holdings to more than 6%.

The fund said on Tuesday that its investment thesis remains centered on balance sheet improvement, disciplined capital allocation, operational execution and the successful integration of Lexmark, which Xerox bought last year.

Starteepo also said it believes the market continues to undervalue Xerox's long-term strategic positioning as enterprises increasingly adopt artificial intelligence.
