路透纽约7月13日 - 大宗商品交易商Gunvor的全球研究与分析主管弗雷德里克·拉塞尔已宣布计划从该公司退休，行业资深人士克里斯·罗斯自6月1日起接任其职务，公司发言人周一证实了这一消息。
该发言人向路透表示，拉塞尔作为Gunvor近年来最常公开露面的高管之一，将在今年年底前继续留在公司，负责过渡工作并提供支持。
拉塞尔最近一次代表Gunvor出席的公开活动是3月的CERAweek大会，该大会被视为石油行业最重要的年度盛会。
拉塞尔的退休是Gunvor高管层一系列引人注目的变动中的最新一例，此前对前首席执行官托尔比约恩·托恩奎斯特进行管理层收购（MBO）之后。收购完成后，常驻美国的执行官加里·佩德森接任了首席执行官一职。
与佩德森类似，罗斯在2025年8月加入Gunvor之前，其35年多的职业生涯大部分时间都在美国科氏集团（Koch）的供应与贸易部门度过。Gunvor发言人表示，他此前曾在科氏集团位于休斯顿、伦敦、鹿特丹以及堪萨斯州威奇托的办事处担任高级管理职务。
罗斯迄今为止职业生涯的亮点在于将机器学习、自动化和实时分析融入交易和投资决策中，该发言人称。
