消息面上，美伊局势升温推高市场对于美联储加息预期，7月13日早盘，黄金持续走低，现货黄金向下跌破4100美元。美军中央司令部通报，美方启动一周内第三轮对伊朗军事打击。其后伊朗革命卫队海军于12日凌晨宣布封锁霍尔木兹海峡，禁令解除前所有船只禁止通行。此外，“美联储传声筒”Nick Timiraos发布文章称，美联储主席沃什的一些同事对通胀的担忧加剧，他们可能会在美联储7月28日至29日召开会议时，推动讨论加息事宜。
