消息面上，周一，日经225指数盘中跌超2%，一度跌破67000点。海通国际发布研报称，上周日本股市走低，日经225指数按周下跌1.70%，更广泛的东证指数下跌0.70%。科技股大幅上涨后的获利回吐压力拖累了市场表现，中东地缘政治紧张局势再度升级以及油价上涨也影响了投资者情绪。此外，通胀压力上升背景下，BOJ未来的加息进程再次成为市场关注的焦点。
此外，7月份以来，日本东京外汇市场日元汇率持续走低，日元兑美元一度跌破162.80，创1986年12月以来新低。有分析认为，日元面临的风险不仅在于贬值本身，而是在于无序贬值，如果外汇干预被证明无效，市场可能会开始质疑干预本身的局限性，日元疲软态势将会进一步加剧。
