Sichuan Kelun-Biotech Biopharmaceutical's (HKG:6990) phase 3 study of sacituzumab tirumotecan (sac-TMT) combined with Merck's Keytruda met the primary endpoint in first-line treatment of PD-L1-negative advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.

The study showed the combination significantly improved progression-free survival compared with pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy.

An interim analysis also indicated a positive trend in overall survival, while no new safety signals were identified.
