Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR) started a 40,000-meter drilling campaign at the Peak Hill project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program aims to infill and extend existing gold mineralization to facilitate a resource update by year-end, the filing said.
Two reverse circulation rigs are on site, with a diamond drilling rig expected to arrive in about five weeks, per the filing.
Shares rose 3% in morning trade on Thursday.
