China Steel Corp (TPE:2002), d/b/a CSC, lowered its steel products price list for August amid slowing demand and lower steel prices in Asia and the war in the Middle East.

Taiwan's biggest steelmaker decided to cut steel prices by NT$800 per tonne for all of its products, according to a Monday notice on its website.

CSC added that the market has taken a wait-and-see approach and that the lower prices are expected to support downstream customers in securing orders.
