Cintas shares jumped Wednesday after its fourth-quarter and full-year earnings beat Wall Street expectations.

The corporate-uniform supplier's stock rose 3.7% to $191.13, making it the day's third-best performer in the S&P 500 so far and putting it on pace for its largest percentage increase since April 9, 2025.

Cintas' fourth-quarter earnings were up 8.9% year-over-year, rising to $2.91 billion from $2.67 billion and beating analyst expectations by 1.39%. Adjusted diluted earnings were $1.29 a share, increasing 18.3% compared to the prior year and beating analyst expectations by $0.05.

Cintas' full-year revenue was up 8.9% year-over-year, hitting $11.26 billion with an organic revenue growth rate of 8.3%.

In March, Cintas announced that it will acquire uniform provider UniFirst in a $5.5 billion deal priced at $310 per share. The deal is expected to close by the end of 2026.

"We are excited about the substantial value we expect to create for shareholders and customers through the UniFirst transaction," President and CEO Todd M. Schneider said on Wednesday.

Cintas expects revenue for fiscal year 2027 to be in the range of $12.10 to $12.25 billion, which would mark a 7.4% to 8.7% increase year-over-year. Analysts' consensus predicts 2027 revenue to be $12.07 billion.
