该片改编自荷马的古希腊史诗，由马特·达蒙饰演希腊英雄奥德修斯，讲述了他在特洛伊战争结束后踏上归乡的险途。这是诺兰继202 3年大片 《奥本海默》之后的首部电影 ，后者曾斩获包括最佳导演和最佳影片在内的多项奥斯卡奖。
