Ryanair Remains Attractive in Long Term

0649 GMT - Ryanair's low-cost and high-margin business continues to look attractive in the long term, RBC Capital Markets analyst Ruairi Cullinane says in a research note. The downward trend in fuel prices since May should also help lift analysts' earnings expectations, Cullinane says. Meanwhile, the Dublin-listed airline sees fares for the first half of the fiscal year trending slightly weaker than anticipated, despite a recent uptick in volumes and less price stimulation. This suggests that it might be past the worst of weakness in short-haul fares, the analyst adds. (nina.kienle@wsj.com)
