SpaceX (SPCX) is in talks with the Defense Department to provide the agency with datacenter capacity worth billions of dollars for running artificial intelligence models, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The two sides are discussing an arrangement in which SpaceX would provide computing capacity at a cost of up to several billion dollars, according to the report, which noted the talks are ongoing and no agreement has been reached.

SpaceX did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
