美国参议员伊丽莎白·沃伦致信美联储监察长，要求调查美联储负责监管事务的副主席米歇尔·鲍曼聘请一家咨询公司对硅谷银行倒闭开展第四次审查是否浪费政府资源一事。

　　沃伦在致美联储监察长Michael Horowitz的信中表示，此前针对硅谷银行倒闭的审查中，有两次认定鲍曼投票支持的放松监管政策助推了该银行倒闭

　　沃伦表示，如果鲍曼委托开展新的审查，“只是因为此前审查牵涉到她的政策行动”，那可能构成滥用政府资源

　　沃伦还质疑称，这份咨询合同并非通过竞争性程序授予，而鲍曼的前任Randal Quarles与这家咨询公司有关联
