CVS Health said common prescription medications for dogs and cats are available at about 9,000 pharmacy locations nationwide.
The healthcare and retail pharmacy company said pet owners can fill prescriptions for select pet-only medications, including antibiotics, allergy and pain relievers, expanding access to pet care.
Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness Interim President Sid Tenneti said the addition of pet medication expands CVS' ability to be a one-stop destination for care.
